Low Vision Report Referral

If at the end of a WGOS 3 Low Vision Assessment a patient requires referral to Third Sector Support Services, Visual Rehabilitation Service or Educational Support services then you can complete this referral via OPERAi.

To start this report referral, please select WGOS 3 LV as the examination type on the referral creation flow, you will then be required to select Yes to Do you need to complete a Low Vision Report for referral to support services (e.g. VRS, Third Sector, Education)?

You will then complete details regarding visual acuities and refraction, like for all referral types, before being presented with the following screens:

One of the most important questions within this Low Vision Report flow is the response to Report/Referral and the multi-selection options of Third Sector Service, Visual Rehabilitation Services and Education Services, this is important as based on the selection here the system will send a referral to your chosen options.

Where Visual Rehabilitation Services and Education Services are selected then you will be presented with dropdown lists to select which of the services you would like to refer the patient to:

The system sends mulitple referrals to each of the selected options from the one report completion.
